For licence procedures, fill ASOC application form and submit with required fees to the nearest monitoring station. They will call for an exam once they have got sufficient candidates. Syllabus for exam is available in our site and you can prepare yourself for the exam. After passing the exam, there will be a police verification process and when you clear it you will get a letter from WPC to send licence fee. Meanwhile you can make your own receivers, antenna, measuring instruments and all. Once you get the licence, you can come to air by making or purchasing a transmitter/transceiver.

Be in touch with a local club is good, but not essential
